In the AI or real game you see one photograph or one generated picture at a time and pick a verdict: real, or AI. The correct answer appears at once, whether you were right or wrong, and the next image follows. Ten verdicts make a game, and the score is public if you want it on the leaderboard. Everything runs in the browser without an account, and the three practice images below are the same kind of mix the full game uses.
Tap real or AI — the answer resolves immediately, no sign-up.
The five habits below are the ones that survive a quick glance. They are ordered by how often they settle a doubtful picture, not by how impressive they sound.
What none of these checks give you is certainty. The quiz rewards the decision you would make in a feed, not a forensic verdict.
Take a picture of someone cooking in a small kitchen, the kind of scene that fills social feeds. Start with the hands: a knife held too far from the blade, and a thumb that disappears into the handle. Then the text: a label on a jar with letters that read almost, but not quite. Then the light: the window is behind the person, yet both cheeks are lit from the front.
Three weak signals, one direction. That is enough to answer AI. In the game the same sequence takes a few seconds, and the feedback afterwards tells you which check you skipped, because the skip is what usually costs the point.
The reverse case is just as instructive. A real photograph in poor light, slightly blurred, with a crooked horizon and a passer-by half in frame, looks synthetic at first glance precisely because it is bad. Learning to separate bad photography from generated imagery is the skill the quiz is built around.
Better than random, worse than their own estimate. Random guessing would produce five out of ten; recorded games sit above that, and a large group of players stalls around seven or eight because one or two images in each game are designed to look plausible to the end.

If you score eight or more, you are already ahead of most attempts. Nine or ten is rare enough to be worth sharing.
The quiz is free, runs in any modern browser and needs neither sign-up nor download. A game takes about two minutes, which is roughly one coffee, and the daily challenge locks in the same ten images for everybody, so a score can be compared honestly.
After each game you get the answer pattern for your ten verdicts, a score you can put on the leaderboard, and a link that challenges someone else to beat it.
